Reproductive Freedom For All Endorses Bob Casey for U.S. Senate

PENNSYLVANIA – Today, Reproductive Freedom For All, a leading non-profit organization advocating for reproductive rights, endorsed Bob Casey for re-election to the U.S. Senate.

“Women’s rights are at stake in this election, including access to reproductive health care, IVF, and contraception,” said Senator Casey. “The difference between me and my opponent is clear: When Roe v. Wade was overturned, my opponent said it made him very, very happy. I voted for the Women’s Health Protection Act to restore the protections of Roe. I’m grateful for the support of Reproductive Freedom for All in this critical election – together we’ll keep fighting to protect these critical rights for people across Pennsylvania and across the country.”

“Senator Casey is meeting the moment and recognizes that action is needed to protect abortion rights and access nationwide,” said Reproductive Freedom for All President and CEO Mini Timmaraju. “With anti-abortion Republicans like David McCormick more focused than ever on a national ban, we need Sen. Casey in the Senate to defend our rights. Pennsylvanians are ready to vote their values again this November—and our members in the state are ready and mobilizing in their communities to help send Sen. Casey back to Washington.”

Senator Casey’s opponent, David McCormick, backs a dangerous anti-choice agenda, including an abortion ban with no exceptions for rape or incest. He repeatedly praised the leaked Supreme Court opinion draft overturning Roe as  “huge victory” and “huge step forward.”
