PENNSYLVANIA – On Monday, Senator Bob Casey held an endorsement event with the National Security Leaders for America, highlighting his record strengthening America’s national security. National Security Leaders for America represents more than 700 former and retired senior military leaders and executive public servants.
Reporter: Senator Casey held a campaign event today at the American Legion Post in Kingston. He was joined by members of the group National Security Leaders for America, a bipartisan organization of retired admirals, generals, former ambassadors and others who have served in the national security apparatus. They’re in Luzerne County to lobby for Senator Casey and other Democratic candidates.
Senator Casey: I believe in the end, the people of our state are going to make the right decision. The right decision for our Commonwealth and our workers and our families, and the right decision for our national security.
Senator Casey spoke about his record when it comes to strengthening America’s national security and support for Ukraine and European countries. He also expressed his, and the National Security Leaders for America’s, duty to protect democracy.
“I can’t tell you how much I am honored by the people behind me for their service and for their willingness to be here today to stand up and support democracy,” said Senator Casey.
