PENNSYLVANIA – On Thursday, in New Cumberland outside Harrisburg, Senator Bob Casey and Senator Patty Murray joined members of the Moms Oppose McCormick coalition to highlight Senator Casey’s record of delivering for Pennsylvania moms and families.
Senator Casey: “This election, though, starts with, I think, a conversation in a debate about some basic rights, whether it’s voting rights or women’s rights or workers’ rights, and on every one of those issues, I’m on one side of the debate. My opponent’s on the other.”
Reporter: Incumbent Senator Bob Casey was in Cumberland County today talking to the Moms Oppose McCormick coalition in New Cumberland joined by other Democrats like State Representative Patty Kim. [Senator Casey] spoke to supporters highlighting topics at the event like the economy and immigration.
Senator Casey: “Well, look, I think across the state families are rising up, led by moms, rising up against the far-right who’s trying to take away rights.”
