PENNSYLVANIA – Connecticut hedge fund CEO and mega-millionaire David McCormick invested and managed hundreds of millions in Russia and billions in China.
McCormick Invested Millions With America’s Adversaries:
- As the CEO of Bridgewater, McCormick invested more than $400 million in Russian government debt, helping to prop up Putin.
- McCormick oversaw millions of dollars of investments into Chinese companies that produced fighter jets, bombers, planes equipped to jam enemy radars, and aircraft carriers for the Chinese military.
- McCormick increased investments in China by 108,000% as CEO of Bridgewater, including companies blacklisted by the U.S. government.
- McCormick invested in companies that did business with Iran, including a subsidiary of a company whose assault weapons and grenade launchers were seized from the terrorist group Hamas.
- David McCormick has deep ties to the Saudi government’s sovereign wealth fund and even pressured his hedge fund to demonstrate “loyalty” to the Saudis after the murder of Jamal Khashoggi.
- McCormick led Bridgewater while it invested nearly $1.7 million in China’s largest fentanyl producer.
