PENNSYLVANIA — Last week, Bob Casey sat down with Good News with Danielle Smith on Pittsburgh’s WGBN Radio to discuss the major benefits Pennsylvania is reaping from investments he fought for in the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law and the Inflation Reduction Act and his record as a United States Senator.

  • Casey: “In Pennsylvania alone, it is double-figure billions from the infrastructure bill. […] $13 billion for Pennsylvania for roads and bridges. That’s $13 billion that the state has never seen.”
  • Casey: “One of the benefits of the [IRA] was the power that was granted to Medicare to negotiate for the lower drug prices. That’s going to be taking effect over the next couple of years, but in that same bill, we capped the cost of insulin at $35 a month for seniors and also limited the out of pocket costs.”
