U.S. Army Veteran Chad Baer: “Bob Casey Worked with Republicans and Democrats to Pass the Burn Pits Bill into Law. Now We Get the Benefits We’ve Earned.”

PENNSYLVANIA — Today, Senator Bob Casey released the first TV ad of his re-election campaign, “Stench.” The ad highlights Senator Casey’s fight to pass the PACT Act to deliver for veterans across Pennsylvania.

Bob Casey is a leader Pennsylvanians can count on. He is committed to upholding America’s promise to look after our veterans who have made the greatest sacrifices serving our country. When some in Congress refused to support the PACT Act to give veterans who were exposed to burn pits the health care they need, Bob Casey joined with Pennsylvania veterans to fight for the bill until it finally passed. Because of that effort, more than 15,000 Pennsylvania veterans have received help, and more than 100,000 more are eligible.

Ranked one of the most effective and bipartisan senators in Washington, Bob Casey has worked across the aisle to lower the cost of insulin, support our veterans, and create tens of thousands of jobs in Pennsylvania.

Chad Baer: On the frontlines of the fight against terrorism, the stench never left.

The haze in the air, you could smell it and taste it.

Toxic exposure.

Some vets died and I still have trouble breathing.

But when we got home, the VA denied us care.

Bob Casey changed that.

Bob Casey worked with Republicans and Democrats to pass the burn pits bill into law.

Now we get the benefits we’ve earned.

I’m grateful Bob Casey has our back.

Senator Casey: I’m Bob Casey, and I’m proud to approve this message.
