Pennsylvanians Across The Commonwealth Are Reading About The Veterans For Casey Coalition And How Senator Bob Casey Is Delivering For Veterans

Veteran for Casey Coalition Member to Clarion News: “Sen. Casey Has A Very Strong Record Of Supporting Veterans. A Lot Of People Say They Should, But The Senator Has Demonstrated It.”

Meadville Tribune Letter To The Editor: “Passage Of The Pact Act And Funding A Historic Cost Of Living Increase For Disabled Veterans Benefits Are Just Two Ways In The Last Year That He’s Shown Up For Veterans Like Me.”

PENNSYLVANIA — Following the launch of the Veterans for Casey coalition, Pennsylvanians across the commonwealth have been reading local coverage of how Senator Bob Casey is delivering for veterans in their communities.

The coalition includes more than thirty servicemembers from multiple branches of the military and elected officials from Pennsylvania’s Congressional delegation, including Congresswoman Chrissy Houlahan (PA-06), Congressman Chris Deluzio (PA-17), former Congressman Patrick Murphy, former Congressman Conor Lamb, and former Congressman Chris Carney.

Pennsylvania Capital-Star: Casey campaign gets a boost from Pennsylvania veterans’ coalition

“Our government has a sacred duty to care for my fellow veterans,” U.S. Rep. Chris Deluzio D-17th District, said in a statement. Deluzio is a Navy veteran of the Iraq War. “Through his words and actions, Senator Bob Casey has shown time and time again that he will be there for us. Whether it’s defending VA healthcare and services, fighting veteran suicide and homelessness, and so much more, he’s been standing up for veterans.”

Clarion News: White joins “Veterans for Casey” coalition

“I’m a veteran myself and when they put together this coalition I couldn’t say no,” said [Braxton] White. “Sen. Casey has a very strong record of supporting veterans. A lot of people say they should, but the Senator has demonstrated it.”

Meadville Tribune: Letter: Casey has veterans’ backs

Sen. Casey doesn’t say “support the troops” like a political party favor — he actually does it. Passage of the PACT Act and funding a historic cost of living increase for disabled veterans benefits are just two ways in the last year that he’s shown up for veterans like me. This work changes lives for the betterment of veterans and their families. Changes that help ensure those that fought for our country are afforded the dignity they deserve, that our government works to live up to promises it made. Many in Washington talk big, but Sen. Casey has spent his career delivering.

More than thirty veteran leaders have joined this coalition. We know Pennsylvania veterans need Bob Casey to keep having our backs in the U.S. Senate.

North East Times: Letter: 6 more years

Because I care so deeply, I am signing my name to Veterans for Casey, a coalition of servicemembers from across Pennsylvania who are committed to supporting Sen. Bob Casey’s reelection campaign.

Sen. Casey not only cares about veterans, but he has proven that he can actually get things done in a Senate where obstruction and personal attacks are strategy. One of the best examples of his demonstrated ability is that he wrote and passed the bipartisan ABLE Age Adjustment Act. This imperator legislation will allow more than 1 million disabled veterans to save money without risking their federal disability benefits.

More than 30 veteran leaders across Pennsylvania have come together to launch the Veterans for Casey Coalition dedicated to re-elect current U.S. Senator Bob Casey (D-PA)  before the 2024 election.
