AFSCME Organizing Director & Council 13 Administrator: “Senator Casey Has Always Been On Our Side”
PENNSYLVANIA – Today, the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees (AFSCME) Council 13’s Statewide Steering Committee unanimously and enthusiastically endorsed longtime union supporter Senator Bob Casey for re-election.
AFSCME is the largest affiliate in the AFL-CIO and AFSCME Council 13 represents more than 65,000 public employees in Pennsylvania. Senator Casey recently spoke to the committee virtually and will be joining AFSCME members, State Representative Patty Kim, and the Dauphin County Democrats for a meet and greet in Harrisburg on March 14.
